Thanks for posting that. I added it to the details page of the film.

Also FYI, we do not really like people to post links on the forums.

thanks for the kind words and the editing
but I am a bit puzzled that you don´t like
direct links if you do exactly that on the
detail pages.

Edit (to avoid an endless thread )
I wasn´t aware of the "ranking"-thing
thanks for clearing and
no, I am not offended
and I don´t work for imdb :)

That link was probably OK, actually - Astrid just means that some spammers have been putting their links into their posts (pretending to ask about something else) so their Google ranking will increase. In this case, I presume you don't work for IMDB, so it's no problem :)

Thanks Simon! Yup, just trying to be consistent about no linking. Notice I left the url in just made it un-hyperlinked. Hope I did not offend;-)

And I do not like films on this site who have no description whatsoever but just a link to imdb...
just kidding...

In all seriousness, who is "we", and why is a link to imdb "good for the goose" but obviously not "for the gander"...

I like them (especially in lieu of other descriptions)

Internet Archive does not like hyperlinks on the forums to prohibit spamming. However links on the details pages if they are for the item (like the imdb links) are fine.

Why ? IMdB and The New York Times Movies (a site which contains plenty of reviews about old movies) are excellent sources of information !
